Please join us for a special webinar about wild horse behavior.
Through an interview with Dr. Sarah King about her work and studies, we will investigate a matriarchal view of horse society, learn new ways to think about the complex social structures of wild horses, and hear some surprising stories about how horses interact.
King is co-chair of the International Union of the Conservation of Nature Species Survival Commission Equid Specialist Group, working to conserve endangered equids around the world. She collaborated with the United States Geological Survey to lead research on the behavior, ecology, and demography of horses and burros in the American West.
King is also a professional positive reinforcement-based animal trainer, offering training and behavior support for dogs and horses.
Please note: While there is no charge for taking part in this webinar, we hope that you'll please consider making a donation that will go toward feeding the nearly 500 rescued wild horses and burros in our sanctuary's care.
