Please join us for Return to Freedom’s Informed Advocacy Webinar Series as we delve into the story behind fertility control in wildlife, zoo animals, and wild horses and burros.
Kayla Grams has handled all manner of wildlife in the field and in conservation settings. As the senior biologist at the Science and Conservation Center in Montana, she has also trained hundreds of people in how to prepare for and implement a wild horse fertility control program, and she has run the lab and manufactured the PZP immuno-contraceptive vaccine ZonaStat-H.
What gave rise to research in utilizing fertility control for wild animal management? And whose idea was it to use it for wild horses?
It all makes for an incredible story, and the background may surprise you!
Please note: While there is no charge for taking part in this webinar, we hope that you'll please consider making a donation that will go toward feeding the nearly 500 rescued wild horses and burros in our sanctuary's care.
